Wellness Initiatives
Our approach to wellness is multifactorial and includes didactic lectures on developing skills in nutrition, sleep hygiene, self-care, and mindfulness, quarterly team-building excursions, and guest lectures, including yoga practice.
We encourage involvement in committees and process development in the emergency department to emphasize agency and the importance of advocating for making the workplace conducive to thoughtful and ergonomic work.
