Undergraduate college students interested in healthcare now have a resource for navigating a graduate education in the health sciences, thanks to ³ûÄñÊÓƵ.

The Mentors in Medicine and Science Program offers mentorship to undergraduates interested in healthcare careers.

MIMS Mentor Program - Arizona

Join the Mentors in Medicine & Science (MIMS) MWU Mentor Program this year and get paired with a ³ûÄñÊÓƵ graduate-level health professions student for the 2024-2025 school year! MIMS is open to all undergraduate-level students in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This program aims to connect undergraduate students with both ³ûÄñÊÓƵ students and faculty to foster long term mentorship relationships.

  • Stagecoach Dining Hall | 4:00-6:00 p.m.
    • 4:00 p.m. - Optional Campus Tour Reception 
    • 4:30 p.m. - Check-in & Meet Your Mentor!
    • 5:00 p.m. - Light Dinner/Professionals in Healthcare Panel

Program includes:

  • Kick-off reception and faculty panel at ³ûÄñÊÓƵ on October 10 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. You MUST attend this event to get paired with a mentor.
  • Monthly communication with your mentor about careers in healthcare, their professional journey, good study habits, and the process to get from undergraduate school to professional school.
  • On-campus hands-on lab event in the spring.
