Wellness Initiatives
We foster an open-door policy. Residents are encouraged to discuss their well-being with the administration, chiefs, or mentors. Residents are trained to look out for co-residents who may be stressed or tired. Residents are encouraged to rest and take personal time to recharge. The sponsoring Institution offers an app to "check-in" regarding well-being. Many wellness opportunities are available throughout the academic year: cycle classes with the PD, Swim days, Tubing the Salt River, Multicultural Holiday Parties, Wellness Didactics, Dinners, and Coffee dates.
