Additional Information
We do all our recruiting through ERAS. Applications must be complete, have 3 letters of recommendation, EXAM Scores #1 and #2, and have graduated from Medical School within the last two years. We will consider foreign graduates if they are on an osteopathic track. We will begin our interview process in November and end in January. We use Thalamus, so applicants will get to choose their interview dates. We do all interviews on Saturdays from 8-12 in a round-robin setting via Microsoft Teams with the Program Director, Program Coordinator, Associate Program Director, and a few Residents. Friday nights before the interview, there is always an open Microsoft Teams Meet & Greet with just the residents; interviewees can join any Meet and Greet they wish. In December and January, we hold in-person Meet and Greets, where we will give you a tour of the hospital and clinic and then have a sit-down dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant. Applicants can contact the Program Coordinator with any questions.
Visiting Medical Students
Any student can request a rotation with the Family Medicine clinic. Please reach out to the Program Coordinator, Lorie Luse. She will work with the clinic manager to schedule your rotation and will send you all the documents that must be completed and a list of items to be returned two weeks before your rotation.
We offer student housing within walking distance of the Family Medicine Clinic. The housing is first-come, first-serve; the men鈥檚 house hosts 8 students and four bedrooms, and the women鈥檚 house will host six students and three bedrooms. The rent is $50.00 for two weeks and 100.00 for one month; arrangements are made through Ms. Luse.
